Most of my classmates packed for Jakarta the week after graduation. I packed for home, a small town, a backyard, and a few dozen chickens that became my first real classroom. It wasn't romantic. It was muddy, smelly, and full of problems no textbook prepares you for.

That idea grew into a startup poultry operation, broiler & layer farms and breeding. What started as a software company became an end-to-end poultry business, backed by venture capital. For more than six years as CTO, I built the tech, ran the ops, and learned what actually moves the needle inside an integrated farming business.

Agric.id is the next chapter. Same conviction, sharper tools. We help livestock and food companies make that shift: practical, hands-on, no consulting fluff.

For Bagus, it all started in the barn. Since junior high he'd fallen for chickens and goats, a fascination that became the compass for his whole career. In 2009, while studying accounting at Universitas Brawijaya, he stepped into financial consulting, a role he still holds today.

Since 2013, Bagus has brought his two worlds together: finance and agribusiness. His path runs from breeding farms and ruminant feed distribution, to commercial broiler and layer farms at a publicly-listed integrated poultry company, to costing specialization at a multinational feed mill, and now leading finance & accounting for layer and breeding at an agri-tech company.

What sets Bagus apart is a simple belief: a good system stands on three things: tools (ERP), people, and process. Many fixate on tools alone, but a messy process still produces messy output. His strength is straightening out business processes and turning the ERP into something that genuinely works for finance and costing, backed by more than a decade of real, on-the-ground experience.
